115 Years and Counting.
Alpha Kappa Psi is the world’s oldest, largest, and most decorated professional fraternity, with a network spanning across the globe consisting of all fields and backgrounds. The fraternity was founded at New York University in 1904 and there are over 260,000 initiated members world-wide. Alpha Kappa Psi is chartered at more than 300 campuses around the globe. Our main purpose is to provide our brothers with professional guidance during their college career to ensure that after graduating, they will have both the professional skills that resonate with whatever industry they join and a vast network of lifelong friends to turn to. Through professional programs such as resume building, interview fine-tuning, philanthropy efforts, and social events; Alpha Kappa Psi is the premier developer of principled business leaders.
Our Vision:
Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.
OUR FOUNDING
THE BROOKLYN FOUR
Pictured above are The Brooklyn Four: George L. Bergen, Howard M. Jefferson, Nathan Lane, Jr., and Frederic R. Leach.
Four New York University accounting students would cross The Brooklyn Bridge to get to class and discuss ways to innovate and improve the business world. These treks would be the foundation of Alpha Kappa Psi.
